Regenerative ProvidersA care-search workbook

A question sheet for your search

Take questions.
Leave with clear answers.

Take these prompts to a visit in person or to telehealth care, which connects you by video, phone, or an online exchange. Regenerative means regrowth or repair. This sheet helps you check peptide treatment offers. Keep the answers together in a notebook.

The person

Get a name. Check the licence.

Ask for the full name, job title, and licence number of the person who will write your prescription.

  • Which state board issued your licence?
  • Where can I check your current licence?
  • If the visit is online, are you allowed to treat me where I am?

The product

Name the medicine and who makes it.

With compounding, a licensed pharmacist or doctor prepares medicine for a patient rather than providing a ready-made drug.

  • What is the exact drug name, and is it a tablet, injection, or something else?
  • Has the U.S. drug agency approved this product, or is it made for me by a pharmacy?
  • Which pharmacy prepares the medicine, and which one sends it to me?
  • If it is made for me, what need does that meet?

The plan

Know who answers after the visit.

  • What do we hope will improve, and how will we know?
  • Do studies show this will help my problem, and what is still uncertain?
  • What unwanted effects might this exact product cause?
  • Who can I reach with a question after I start?
  • When would we review, change, or stop the plan?

The price

Ask for the full cost in writing.

In a September 2026 check of online weight-care services, some charged a monthly care fee and a separate bill for medicines.

Ask for a total that names visit fees, medicines, tests, delivery, supplies, and any ongoing fees.

Questions for the service and your insurer

  • What is included in the quoted price?
  • What would I pay after an offer ends?
  • What costs keep running if I stop treatment?
  • Is this exact product covered for my condition?
  • Must my insurer approve this treatment before I start?
  • What happens to the fees if no prescription is written?
